Description Our team is looking for a Principal Program Manager who will report to our Director, Program Management.
This role is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed when expected and within budget.
Program managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the process.Role and Responsibilities:Determine and define project scope and objectivesPredict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient mannerPrepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirementsTrack project costs in order to meet budgetDevelop and manage a detailed project schedule and work planProvide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progressManage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverablesUtilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project executionMonitor progress and make adjustments as needed using preferred methodologyMeasure project performance to identify areas for improvementQualifications and Education Requirements:Minimum 10 years of relevant work experienceDegree in relevant fieldImpeccable oral and written communication skills, with the ability to creatively tell stories and adjust tone and style based on communication channelAbility to work under tight deadlinesProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredProven ability to solve problems creativelyStrong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practicesExperience seeing projects through the full life cycleExcellent analytical skillsAirline Industry Domain KnowledgeSuper Positive and Customer comes first attitudeStrong interpersonal skills and extremely resourcefulProven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timelineProficient with Microsoft Office suite or equivalent.
