Position Title: Principal Product Engineer
Location: Mirandola (Italy)
A Day in the Life Leads, and manages technical projects, from conception to completion, within R&D workflows. Oversees the design, development, and implantation of engineering solutions across cross-functional teams Foster and build partnerships with the project's stakeholders (both internal and external), leveraging them to achieve organizational goals, and able to influence their opinions and negotiate effective solutions Drives cross-functional teams with leadership, strategy, and motivational skills by assigning team tasks, hosting standup meetings to go over assigned tasks, managing scope, and assisting in workstream schedule development Support detailed design and testing within projects, ensuring product designs meet specifications, and identifying and recommending solutions for complex technical issues and product improvements. Analyze component and product non-conformances, providing root cause analysis and suggested actions Employ data-driven decision-making methodologies and document design steps Working with process development engineers to ensure that products are optimally designed for manufacturing. Creating specifications for device components and assemblies Must Have Bachelor's degree (BS) or Master's degree (MS) in Biomedical, Mechanical, Materials or Chemical Engineering or relevant discipline from an accredited university. > 8 years of relevant experience to related position and in Medical Devices Product Life Cycle system and Design Control and/or Pharma product development experience Knowledge of plastic materials and related application, production, and assembly processes Excellent English and Italian command Nice to Have
Pharma experience and/or pharma background CAD software knowledge Agile and/or Windchill knowledge Direct experience in Industrial/Medical device design of experiment (DoE) or robust design Direct experience in Pharma development process Team working attitude Project Leading and Leadership skills Willingness to travel as needed, = 20 % Why Work with Us?
