The Digital Thread and Twins Technologies (DT3) is responsible for adopting and adapting those Software and data technologies that bridge data, models and processes from different IT systems and make them available over unified interfaces to the end users. In addition, looking forward, our team leads the research on how to create digital twin models of physical devices and enable engineers to do real-time what-if analyses and prognostics. The DT3 team seeks qualified individuals for the role of Software Solution Architect to lead the creation of new applications as well as the maturation and scaling up of existing ones, over modern Software Architectures, greatly leveraging elastic and cloud/hybrid infrastructures. Responsibilities: Elicit and organize customer and user needs following the Agile values and principles; also manage the product portfolio and roadmap in collaboration with the corresponding stakeholders. Develop and evolve the Software and data architectures that will implement user needs and the roadmap. Define and enforce the development of good practices for the product development; from TDD and continuous integration to solid Agile and DevOps ones. Lead the development of the product with active role on all the phases of the development (leading by example), from development, to testing, to releasing and supporting. Basic Qualifications: Minimum of three years experience on production-ready Software development (preference on Java and Python ecosystems). This includes experience with both traditional Software architectures as well as modern architectures that primarily focus on data-driven workflows and cloud deployments. Minimum of two years leading (some or all) Software architectural aspects of a production-ready Software solution. Good experience with at least one of the Agile frameworks (certifications are welcome) and proven skills on DevOps practices.
