The CDC (Cloud and Datacenter) BU is seeking an experienced Analog Integrated Circuit AMS Verification Engineer to work on developing switching power supply ICs for datacenter and communication markets, leading innovation from concept to implementation.
The CDC BU mission is to define, design and manufacture leading edge monolithic Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS) products in BCD technology, such as:
Integrated power stages up to 100A delivered current for multiphase SMPS for server and AI. 16V to sub-1V step down PoL with integrated Power Stage and PMBus for server, network, and communication. 3.3V to 0.5V step down PoL for Optical Modules. Hot Swap. Responsibilities: Work within an analog/mixed-signal design team based in Catania (Italy), Dublin, and other locations worldwide. Collaborate with technical project lead, digital design lead, and product definer to define and execute Pre-Silicon AMS top-level verification plan, ensuring thorough verification of system requirements and datasheet specifications prior to IC tapeout. Implement analog models in Verilog AMS/SystemVerilog to speed up AMS and system-level simulations. Set up Mixed-mode IC top-level simulation environment. Apply metric-driven Verification (MDV) methodologies to cover all datasheet requirements and specifications. Create scripts to automate/standardize DUT stimuli. Create regression scripts to run multiple test cases in batch mode and analyze results. Requirements: Master's degree in electronic engineering and 8+ years of experience as Analog-MS Verification Engineer. Strong knowledge of hardware modeling languages such as SystemVerilog and VerilogA. Strong fundamentals in analog and mixed-signal design, tools, and flows. Previous design experience with circuits such as amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs, and switching power supply circuits is a plus. Experience in leading verification of complex and large Mixed-Signal ICs. Understanding of digital IC design. Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills are required. Ability to take ownership of top-level subsystems and integration in the mixed-signal environment. #LI-CO1
