Sofidel's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets to 2030 have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as consistent with reductions required to keep warming to well-below 2°C, in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement.PURPOSETo aid the employer in the drafting of the assessment document of all risks for health and safety during working activities, identifying the risk factors and all the consequent prevention and protection measures of health and safety, also contributing to its re-drafting To ensure compliance with legal obligations in matters of health and safety and the implementation and maintenance in time of the Health and Safety management System in the relevant plant MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Identify all risk factors in the plant Assess all risks and indicate the prevention and protection measures for the health and safety of working environments in compliance with the regulations in force In collaboration with the Safety delegate, elaborate on the prevention and protection measures which have arisen from the assessment of all risks, and the relevant control systems, and check their application In collaboration with the Safety delegate, elaborate on the safety procedures or instructions concerning health and safety for the different corporate activities Participate in consultations on protection of health and safety in working places and in periodic meetings Provide workers with information on the risks for health and safety, on the adopted prevention and protection activities and measures, on first-aid procedures, fire fighting and evacuation from the workplace Suggest workers' information and training programmes collaborating with the Corporate Health & Safety Dept in their execution In collaboration with the Safety delegate, manage job injury and professional disease events Carry out the analysis of accidents (job injuries and near-misses) and draft the relative reporting in compliance with the Group's standards, so as to identify the causes and implement the relative corrective and preventive measures and forward it to the Group H&S manager Ensure the assessment of the machines, plants and facilities compliance with applicable law requirements Assess the compliance and efficacy of the adopted fire prevention and protection measures, in collaboration with the Safety delegate Implement and maintain the Health and Safety management system in time Assess the compliance with regulations on health and safety of the contracting firms also through the drafting of a standard document on the interferential risks and participate in those firms' qualification process in their areas Participate in the training programmes necessary to maintain professional results Promote a safety-bound corporate culture Apply the Corporate Principles and Values .ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor Degree in Environment and Workplace Prevention Techniques, Engineering or similar At least 5 years experience in similar roles within a manufacturing company Enabling the H&S Manager function Ability to work independently, to propose solutions to problems of various types to their manager and if necessary take decisions based on their level of autonomy Ability to communicate effectively in different work situations and with different interlocutors Knowledge of English: Minimum level B2 WHAT WE OFFER A full-time employment The chance to work in an international Group and a concrete opportunity for professional growth A dynamic environment based on teamwork Sofidel Language Learning Programme through innovative digital platform for you and one additional user, such as family member or friend.
