To strengthen our Regional Presales team, we are looking for a motivated, proactive, and committed professional with a flexible and curious mind.
You are equipped with strong emotional intelligence and a balanced combination of technical, business (healthcare), and commercial acumen.
Thanks to our new operating model, Regional Presales teams play a key role in Dedalus.
Supported by expert corporate teams, we are at the intersection between global R&D and local delivery, playing a strategic and supporting role to local sales forces.
Overall, you will contribute to the growth and sales strategy of Dedalus Italia by mapping the value of our global and locally developed products to prospective customers through technical evaluation and solution design.
You understand customers' needs and propose the overall solution configuration (including internal products and services), provide the system integration support, evaluate certification implications and external components integration impacts.
Typical activities include performing product demonstrations, answering questions verbally and in writing, responding to questionnaires and RFPs, developing prototypes, and working demonstrations, and generally being a presales solutions concierge.
Specific duties may include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Engage closely with customers, conduct full technical analysis to identify customer's pain points, business and technical requirements, "as is" and "to be" scenarios;
- Provide full support in preparing technical sections of proposals (BID) illustrating optimal solutions that are right for the customer, with the right technology, at the right price point and with the appropriate risk profile;
- Assist the Sales team by articulating technical capabilities of our products and perform custom technical demonstrations focusing on customer value and sales objectives;
- Become a specialist in sub-domain solutions by collaborating with various internal stakeholders (locally and globally) to rapidly develop and maintain a deep and up-to-date knowledge/documentation of Dedalus product portfolio, processes, best-practices, and latest technological advancements;
- Stay up to date with constantly changing market and regulatory landscape, identifying gaps and opportunities;
- Determine and analyze products functional gaps and collaborate with the product and service teams to develop solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- B.Sc.
/ M.Sc.
in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar discipline;
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in architecting large-scale cloud solutions, ideally for SaaS products, performing as-is and to-be analysis, crafting architectural options and designs, finalizing preferred solutions working with IT and business stakeholders;
- 4+ years of relevant experience in at least one of the following topics: Cloud and Infrastructure Architectures, Systems Design and Integration, Network and Cybersecurity solutions, Software Development;
- Ideally previously held a customer-facing role in pre-sales engineering and/or solutions architecture teams supporting B2B sales opportunities within the healthcare market;
- Familiar with healthcare processes and good knowledge of interoperability standards such as HL7v2 and HL7 FHIR, as well as medical code schemes such as ICD 9/10, LOINC, SNOMED;
- Hands-on experience with one or more container orchestration platforms: preferably Kubernetes or OpenShift.
Familiar with microservices architectures.
- Demonstrable experience presenting technical topics in front of a senior audience, including C-Levels on customer side;
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges;
- A highly analytical mindset that is detail-oriented and can understand the bigger picture;
- Excellent verbal and written communication and argumentation skills, with business-fluent Italian and English;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and cultivate strong partnerships with clients, technical teams and business partners;
- Team spirit and high willingness to always learn new things;
- Cloud certifications (preferred).
