Project Management
Italdesign is looking for a dynamic person eager to join Project Management department dedicated on Pre Series (PS) activities and on Ultra Low Series Production (ULSP). Strong verbal and written communicational skills, ability to handle multiple assignments together with above-average analytical and problem solving capabilities, are highly recommended. In this department, you will act as PM of the project to lead a project team in delivering a solution according to the defined timing plan, assuring it is delivered in budget, on schedule, and within scope to the explicit and implied requirements, guaranteeing requested quality, and provide periodic status reports.
A minimum of 5-years previous experience in the automotive field as project manager is mandatory; a practice in the prototype field is preferable.
**Responsibilities**
As Project Manager, you will be in charge to steer a project from the early phase till the completion and acceptance of the deliverables by the customer:
- Coordinate the cost estimation internally and prepare the offer to the customer, including negotiation;
- Define Project Job Split and RASIC Definition and Agreement;
- Support to prepare project budget and prepare budget planning and spending with reference to the expected outputs;
- Manage budget and other economic resources to achieve economic targets of the project, Provide analysis to economic figures;
- Prepare overall project planning and detail plan of specific activities in Engineering phase and production phase;
- Understand the company procedures and processes;
- Set up the Working Model and Organization and Management of Meetings;
- Manage Product Description;
- Coordinate the Design Release, Risk Assessment and Change management;
- Support the achievement of projects decisions and outcomes at milestones (collect and control of deliverables expected at the project milestones);
- Facilitate the decision making process;
- Coordinate the communication with the custom, including reporting to customer and customer expectation management
- Key Performance Index monitoring;
- Govern the escalation process within the internal organization;
- Project monitoring and steering improvement actions;
- Organize and manage operative meeting (including reporting);
- Report about Project Status, Quality Status, Cost Status;
- Managing technical Topics with a cross functional approach, with problem solving skill.
- Support/elaborate actions to improve project efficiency, effectiveness reviewing the IDG processes and working model.
- Active and responsible role in finding the best trade off in case of conflict between performances/boundary conditions, together with all the involved and relevant OU's at project level.
- Support the relationship among the Department involved in the projects
**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Key requirements**
- Previous experience in Project Management (at least 5 years): automotive market sector, resources management, cost management especially referring to German Market;
- Analysis & Problem solving skills;
- Project planning and budget management ability;
- Organization at different levels;
- Customer orientation;
- Outstanding inter-functional teams management;
- Organization & Management: able to manage business relationships;
- Leadership mindset: leadership skills, good in influencing and negotiating; capable to manage resources; able to build a strong team and motivate their members;
- Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English and German (at least C1 level) is required;
- Good time-management capability and proactivity;
- Innovation orientation;
- Responsibility and integrity;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Think-cell, CAD viewer).
- Experience of Product Data Management (PDM) and Bill of Material (BOM) and Extended Resource Planning (ERP)
- Knowledge of prototype construction approach, methodology and process
- Experience to manage multi-disciplinary, cross-functional activities (i.e. Engineering and Workshop, etc.) of the projects.
- A basic knowledge in chassis and engine (traditional and EV) fields is expected
- A basic knowledge in few-off and ultra limited series production is expected

**Additional Information**
- ** Education**: Bachelor/Master's Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Management Engineering or similar;
- ** Language skills**: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required. Knowledge of German would be appreciated
