We are seeking a PPA Origination Manager to join our growing Power Marketing team!
Reporting to the Head of PPA Origination Europe, you will play a key role in identifying and building relationships that lead to power purchase agreements (PPAs) for development projects in Europe, with a primary focus on the Italian market.
You will leverage your knowledge of local power markets to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including prospective off-takers (utilities, CI, electro-intensive consumers), existing customers, renewable advisors, and sustainability organizations.
You will work closely with the project development, acquisitions, and investment team, managing off-taker agreements from inception to completion.
As a PPA Origination Manager, you will actively develop commercial opportunities by scouting and originating long-term energy supply agreements with utility, commercial, and industrial customers.
You'll promote partnerships with both traditional and non-traditional energy purchasers, and evaluate opportunities from both tactical and financial perspectives to drive new contracting opportunities.
This is a dynamic and varied role supporting all aspects of power origination, including prospecting, RFPs, bilateral deals, bid strategy, pricing, screening, and PPA negotiations.
Additionally, you will support market research, promote defined marketing campaigns, and contribute to the development of benchmarks related to renewable energy supply services and new business models.
Desirable skills: Experience in originating and negotiating power purchase agreements (PPAs) and strategic partnerships in the Italian market Knowledge of power market dynamics Understanding of market drivers for renewables, including supply and demand trends, and customer behaviors Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities Proficiency in written and spoken Italian and English, French will be a plus Please submit your CV in English.
