The Power Supply Engineer will be responsible for the Design Low Voltage Power Supply Systems for Signalling, ERTMS L1/L2 and Auxiliary Systems in Tenders and Projects.
Key Responsibilities The Power Supply Engineer will be in charge of: Defining Power Supply Requirements (Functional, Non-Functional Requirements, Interfaces) considering power absorption needs of all the subsystems.
Electrical Design of low voltage power supply systems for railway signaling, that includes: Power load estimation Sizing of UPS, Engine Generator, 1000V power line Electrical switchboard, Circuit breaker and Power Cables Sizing of grounding systems.
Perform periodically Design Technical review.
Dealing with other project stakeholders, both internal (project team members) and external (Customer, Supplier).
Delivery of technical documentation (Multiwire Electrical drawing included).
Supporting Installation and Commissioning phase.
Applying the Design methods tools, configuration change management processes in accordance with Alstom standards.
Required Knowledge Electrical High School Diploma OR Electric/Electronic Engineering Degree Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Good knowledge of written and spoken English Preferred Skills Knowledge of the main electrical systems regulations (CEI, IEC etc.
), for design and testing.
