Job Summary My client is seeking a highly motivated Power Electronics Engineer to design, develop, and test power electronic converters for their existing and next-generation products. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with software and firmware teams to ensure the timely and quality release of the developed power converter prototypes and products. Additionally, they will support the technical realization, industrialization, and certification efforts for newly developed products and upgrades of existing products.
Responsibilities Design, develop and test power electronic converters for existing and next-generation products. Collaborate closely with software and firmware teams to ensure the timely release of developed power converter prototypes and products. Support the technical realization of power converter prototypes and products. Support industrialization and certification efforts for newly developed products and upgrades of existing products. Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of developed power electronic converters. Participate in the factory- and site acceptance testing of non-standard and more complex customer systems. Provide technical support for customer demos. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification (advanced degrees preferred). At least three years of practical experience in developing medium- and high-power power electronic converters. High interest and focus on practical experimentation, from system design, testing, and validation, up to product certification. Solution-oriented mindset and ability to work in a highly dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
