Offer Description: We are offering a 2-year Postdoctoral Researcher position in Computer Science based at the Department of Historical Studies, University of Milan.
The position is part of the research initiative, "Methodologies and Applications of Automatic Image Understanding in Cultural, Historical, and Artistic Heritage," and focuses on applying deep learning techniques to the analysis of cultural, historical, and artistic heritage. The research will involve developing advanced computational methods for automatic image understanding, enhancing the interpretability of machine learning models, and applying these methods to artworks, historical artifacts, and archaeological findings. Applicants should hold, or be nearing completion of, a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related discipline.
