Title: Development of MIP-based Carbon Printed Electrodes for PAH DetectionPRIN PNRR 2022 project: gReen analytical methods for PAHs detection in EVOO: from lABoratory to smart LabEl (RELIABLE)ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of food-grade biosensors based on MIPs deposited on conductive carbon edible inks stencil-printed onto flexible supports (e.g., food packaging).MIPs will be electropolymerized using biocompatible monomers (e.g., chitosan, alginate) enabling the ultrasensitive and selective detection of PAHs (at ppb level).The prepared sensor will be characterized using microscopically (SEM, TEM, AFM), spectroscopically (Raman and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy – XPS), and electrochemically (CV, EIS, DPV, SWV).Electrochemical sensors exhibiting appropriate stability, sensitivity (ppb level), selectivity, and robustness will be tested for detection of the target analytes.This system will be coupled at first through flat cable connection with a benchtop potentiostat, which will later be miniaturized to obtain a user-friendly instrument.QualificationsKnowledge in Electrochemistry, Electrode manufacturing, Additive Techniques, and Molecularly Imprinted Polymers is required.Submit your application through the PICA website: https://pica.cineca.it/loginLivello di anzianità Stage #J-18808-Ljbffr
