The center is equipped with unique facilities for the generation, rearing, and studying genetically modified mosquitoes, including mosquitoes with gene drive constructs designed for malaria control.Position SummaryA postdoctoral researcher position is available immediately in the Ecology and Genetics Research Center to work under the supervision of Dr. Jaroslaw Krzywinski on a project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and aimed at identification and characterization of molecular interactions involved in the sex determination and sexual differentiation of the African malaria mosquito, Anopheles gambiae.
