HT is an interdisciplinary research institute, created and supported by the Italian government, whose aim is to develop innovative strategies to promote human health through a multidisciplinary and integrated approach, combining genomics, computational and structural biology and neuroscience, as well as data and decision sciences.
**Key tasks and responsibilities**:
- Leverage the recent advances in CRISPR, cell imaging and single-cell sequencing technologies to dissect molecular mechanisms regulating B cell activations;
- Develop new ideas to measure cell biological phenotypes of B cells and study antibody diversification;
- Managing data analysis within their project;
- Generating reliable data for publication in the projects to which they are assigned and recording all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic);
- Publishing reproducible research;
- Interacting and supporting other group members whenever needed;
- Sharing and discussing research results with collaborators.
**Mandatory requirements**:
- PhD in immunology, cell biology, genomics or other relevant disciplines (or PhD is going to be awarded by January 2025);
- Fluency in English - HT is an international research institute and English will be the main language spoken in the lab.
**Preferential requirements**:
- Experience with B cell isolation, manipulation, activation and culture;
- Experience with genomic technologies (e.g. scRNA-seq);
- Experience in flow cytometry;
- Experience in imaging technologies (e.g. confocal microscopy);
- Experience in molecular biology (e.g. CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing).
