Postdoc - Low-Background Cryogenic Detector Development And Data Analysis For Neutrino And Dark Matt

The RES-NOVA experiment is looking for a motivated post-doctoral researcher to advance the development of low-background cryogenic detectors and perform data analysis for neutrino and Dark Matter searches. The project aims to design a new class of detectors capable of detecting Supernova neutrinos and exploring other astrophysical phenomena, with potential applications in Dark Matter research. These cutting-edge detectors, crafted from archaeological Pb with exceptionally low radioactivity, are equipped with superconducting thermal sensors and SQUID amplifiers for signal readout. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in both experimental and analytical aspects, including detector development, calibration, and interpretation of results.
