Job Description - Postdoc in Robotics and AI (2400008R) Commitment & contract: Collaboration contract, 1 year Location: INAIL - Via di Fontana Candida, Monte Porzio Catone, Roma (primary) and Center for Robotics and Intelligent Systems, Genova, Italy THE ROLE You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where junior and senior scientists collaborate, each with their expertise, to carry out a scientific activity with a shared research goal. The Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence Research Unit is coordinated by Dr. Daniele Pucci and it combines theoretical investigations with real-time practical implementation on real hardware and embedded electronics. Within the research team, your main responsibility will be: Develop algorithms, methods or technologies for the Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence cutting-edge robotics research lab. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS A PhD in robotics, control engineering, artificial intelligence, mechanical engineering, software engineering, electronic engineering, biomedical engineering, wearable robotics, or any other related field to robotics and AI; Outstanding academic track record; Creative, proactive, and collaborative attitude; Good command of spoken and written English. ADDITIONAL SKILLS Experience with robotics experimental systems; Experience with machine learning tools; Experience with robot dynamics, control, and estimation; Experience with programming languages (C++, Python, MATLAB), and middlewares (e.g., YARP, ROS); Experience with GitHub or other code versioning tools; Ability to work in a challenging and international environment; Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment; Analytical reasoning skills and a growth mindset.
