Postdoc In Biology/Biotechnology

Auxologico is looking for a Postdoc in the Laboratory of Cardiovascular Genetics that will direct and supervise the genetic activites of the lab.
investigate the functional consquences of calmodulin mutations with patient-specific human models integrating molecular, functional (electrophysiology), pharmacological and live imaging data;
build multicellular patient-specific models and organoids of human calmodulinopathies;
contribute to the writing of research papers;
assist in the supervision of PhD students and contribute to the lab requirements;
present scientific works at national and internationals meetings.
**Essential requirements**:
marked interest for the field of cardiac arrhythmias and/or genetics;
PHD in biology, biotechnology, molecular medicine, genetics or similar fields;
a solid publication track record;
ability to work independently;
good knowledge of written and spoken Engliesh;
good IT skills.
**Preferential requirements**:
experience in live imaging;
expertise in molucalr biology and/or molecular assays (qPCR, sorting, immunostainings);
experience in genome editing;
expertise in patch clamp electrophysiology and/or MEAs.
Proficiency in cell cultures, knowledge of human pluripotent stem cell cultures and differentiation will be an advantage.
**Duration of contract**:
This appointment will be initially for 1 year, with extensions for up to 4 years renewed according to progress. Salary will be base on experience.
