We promote excellence in basic and applied research such as neuroscience and cognition, humanoid technologies and robotics, nanotechnology, materials for a truly multidisciplinary scientific experience.YOUR TEAMYou'd be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where biomedical, mechanical, and electrical engineers, neuroscientists, computational scientists, and robotics experts collaborate, each with their expertise, to carry out common research. The research focuses on the design of software applications on smartphones and mobile devices for a navigation system for people in the context of smart cities. The software will interface to a wearable electronic system that will enable, using dedicated sensors and intelligent interaction with online maps, improvement of the autonomy of elder visually impaired people.
