About the role: As a Pool and Bar Attendant you will ensure guests are living a memorable experience within the hotel and by the pool area.
You will proactively greet guests, assist with seating arrangements, inform them of all pool policies and specific pool features, attend to guest needs and requests, and provide an expertly service experience.
You will be responsible for clearing and resetting loungers and sunbeds, offering amenity services and clean towels.
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager of the Anciovi Restaurant, you will deliver exceptional service and attention to our guests through providing beverages and snacks, communicating guest orders to the bartender, taking care of any special requests, anticipating guests' needs, ascertaining satisfaction, and offering suggestions.
What you will do: Provide guests with a level of service in keeping with Four Seasons standards including: pick up, stock, restock, and drop off towels, juices, fruits and other amenities needed.Utilize the hotel computer system by ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks and completing end of day revenue reports.Conduct all opening procedures including obtaining pool keys, unlocking all cabinets, setting up amenities and organizing pool towels.Serve and clear beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner.Assist guests in seating, offering towel, and informing them of amenities, hotel information and food and beverage service.Wipe down, set up and move, when necessary, all pool deck equipment.What you bring: High School education or college degree preferred.Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury resort/hotel.The ability to walk up for up to ten hours per day in a warm climate.Food and beverage knowledge is a must.Familiarity with all HACCP rules, allergens, and a lifeguard certification.Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English and Italian.What we offer: Competitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits package.Excellent Training and Development opportunities.Complimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms.Meals available at our Employee Restaurant.Employee Experience initiatives: from annual themed employee party to many ESG events throughout the year.Employee Recognition Programs.Opportunities to build a successful career with global potential.Schedule & Hours: This is a full-time position.The candidate must have a flexible schedule and work also on weekends and holidays.This position is based at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina and the contract is seasonal.
