We currently have an opportunity for a PMO Leader.
Reporting directly to the SVP, Global Product, this individual will manage the process of developing new products and technology to grow the top and bottom-line.
The PMO Leader will help develop and integrate best in class Project Management practices, improving on our process, communication, adherence to schedule and overall project execution.
The PMO Leader will also add to our product roadmap by following technology trends and identifying new product opportunities.
He/she will develop relationships with suppliers who can competitively manufacture our products.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
MS in those disciplines and/or an MBA is a plus - 5-10 years hardware and software product development project management experience - Project Management Office leadership experience is a plus - Proven ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing priorities simultaneously, work independently, and drive projects to completion with minimum guidance and high attention to detail - Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desired - A strong focus on execution.
A leader with the appropriate level of drive and "toughness" to effectively manage in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that results and deadlines are achieved without damaging morale - Deep and broad experience in combined hardware and software product development and execution - Strong knowledge of the consumer electronics market dynamics - Experience working withAsia-based ODMs - for both hardware and software new product development - Experience with AWS, basic dev ops, and scaling infrastructure to support increases in users.
Experienced in SQL and Postgres.
Familiar and up-to-date on mobile architecture design.

- Define and own our New Product Development project management process to direct & control the delivery of software and hardware projects.
- Establish accountability & governance processes to ensure that our product roadmap objectives are achieved and risks are managed appropriately & proactively, - Execute new product development projects on time and at budget to deliver top and bottom-line growth for the company - Manage a matrixed team of hardware, software, validation engineers and suppliers to directly develop new products.
- Quarterback a cross functional team of Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Packaging, Finance, IT and Supply Chain resources to successfully launch new products - Report out on project status to management on a regular basis - Identify technology trends and evolving user behavior that may support or impede our technological investments, and drive innovation that leverages key technology trends such as mobile, cloud, big data, responsive design, machine learning and modern APIs Our benefits package includes:
