Description Our client in the Machinery Manufacturing industry is seeking a PLC Programmer to join their team in Jackson, TN. In this role you'll design, build, and troubleshoot electronic instrumentation and electrical systems for custom-made machines. You'll work closely with the Engineering Manager and have the chance to travel internationally, bringing your expertise to global projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical and mechanical background, while being able to maintain clear communication with customers, associates, and management. PLC Programmer (electrical & mechanical exp. req.) Responsibilities •    Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment
•    Safely install and connect electrical components for plant machinery
•    Request and oversee spare parts and supplies as required
•    Follow strict safety and lockout procedures in all electrical work
•    Lead electrical functions, ensuring proper installation and maintenance of equipment
•    Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues for customers
•    Make service calls 
•    Keep up with schematics and manuals to accurately diagnose and resolve issues
•    Maintain service records and adhere to production schedules
•    Keep accurate records and ensure data is up-to-date
PLC Programmer (electrical & mechanical exp. req.) Qualifications •    3+ years of custom machine build experience required 
•    Proven ability to design electrical power and control schematics using AutoCAD required
•    3+ years of PLC and HMI programming experience required
•    Well-versed in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment
•    Ability to acquire a passport for international travel required
•    Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds required
