Description Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated PLATFORMS WAYSIDE V&V ENGINEER who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Naples, Italy.
Experience needed: Proficient in writing and or modifying C codePast V&V experience, writing and executing testsKnowledge of Computer architecture, Operating System and Embedded systemsExperience with performing and documenting design and test activities in accordance with CENELEC StandardsEnglish: upper intermediate level requiredExperience using Java object-oriented languageExperience with SQL / Relational DatabaseExperience of cybersecurity, networking and systems protectionKnowledge of STS products and processesRequired skills / Knowledge: 3 to 5 years of technical experience in the Railway environment.Excellence in Achieving Assigned Objectives.Collaboration and International Development.Education / Qualification: Master's Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent Technical Background.
Languages: Fluent in English.
