Core products include chocolate, chocolate decorations, creams, pastry mixes, gelato ingredients, and other bakery / pastry ingredients.The Company, headquartered in Italy, was acquired by Advent International, the global Private Equity firm, in July 2022, and has a strong track record of growth over the last decade.Thanks to the recent acquisitions of important players in the belonging market, IRCA is becoming a global leader in the semi-finished ingredients industry, with 22 manufacturing facilities in Europe, US and Vietnam and a combined €1 billion of revenues.Purpose of Position:Coordinate and manage the control and quality assurance activities of the production site, both within the departments and through the planning activity, to ensure that raw materials, processes and finished products reach and meet the established standards.Description of main Activities / Responsibilities:Monitor business processes to verify protocol application and compliance with predefined proceduresPlanning and conducting quality control activities and internal inspectionsCoordinating and supervising the analysis of raw materials and productsWorking together to produce data sheets of incoming raw materials and processed productsAnalyze and process customer satisfaction and customer quality dataEvaluate external suppliers and make sure they comply with technical quality requirementsReport regularly to the person responsible on the progress of the quality management system in order to achieve the KPIsTraining staff on: quality, hygiene, food safety, food security, etc.Education:Master's degree in Food Science and TechnologyProfessional Skills:Knowledge of food technology, in particular BRC, IFS or similar quality standardsKnowledge of current food industry legislationAbility to use the main analysis tools in the food analysis laboratoryKnowledge of production processes in an industrial contextExperiences:3+ years of experience in quality department within food sectorLanguage Skills:English proficiencyComputer Skills:MS OfficeBehavioural requirements:Excellent analytical skillsPreparation for the autonomous management and organization of workGood communication and relationship skillsAnalytical and time optimization capabilitiesAbility to work in a dynamic context #J-18808-Ljbffr
