Colorni 1/3/5, Forli 47122 ITAEmployment Type: Salaried | Full-TimeFunction: QualityEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesQuality LeadJerachy (hard line) Reporting to Plant ManagerFunctionally (dotted line) reporting to QualityAssurance ManagerWorkplace : Forlì, Italy – Plastic srlResponsibilities and duties:The Role will be responsible for the quality of thecompany product meets Customer Quality requirement and Trimas qualityobjectives, maintaining the company quality systems in line with ISO9001 and BRCstandards.The role will be also responsible for the identificationand development of continuous improvement projects.Mainly tasksLead the quality team of the Forli plant.Promote as ambassador EHS culture over the plant.Manage quality and improvements in plant (scrap reduction, preventive quality, drive continuous improvement).ensure daily contact with customer/supplier about potential quality claims.ensure new project/product launch into production into serial production and activities related to this.Manage, control, analyse, improve and report daily, weekly, monthly status of quality (KPI's)Maintain Quality management system standards.Create and update work instruction, quality alerts and Quality Control Plan.Aid overcome production, assembly and process problems.Periodic reporting of quality services, including recommendations for further actions.Set up audits on production line on a regular basis and track action plan.Provide advice on the acceptance or rejection of incoming materials and components, implementing and following corrective actions with the supplier.Work closely with Plant Management team to identify and solve quality issues, on short and permanent term.Maintain ISO certified standards and work to obtain new certification targeting by the company.QualificationsUniversity education in technical field (bachelor's degree or master's degree)3-5 years work experience in the role as Quality Supervisor or Customer QualityEnglish - Advanced or fluentAbility to lead people.Ability to manage daily task of incoming/outcoming quality and requirements towards customer/supplier.Open mind person to find process improvement.Knowledge of Quality and safety standardsSPC KnowledgePreferred Lean six sigma methodology knowledgeOther technical skills8D, problem solving and quality tools.Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint / OutlookSoftskillsAccuracy, flexibility, reliability, team player, natural leadership, analytical skills
