For one of its Italian sites, we are looking for the:PLANT MANAGERPosizionewho will be accountable for and coordinate all business operations within the plant. Responsibilities include directing and supervising the manufacturing, engineering, safety, sanitation, maintenance, logistic, purchasing functions.Main responsibilities:· Supports Food Safety, Food Defense initiatives and Good Manufacturing Practices with an understanding that these are absolutes and are Top Priority.· Coordinates and directs the manufacturing activities of plant operations to ensure that all financial and market area initiatives are met.· Responsible for P&L of the plant operations according to the assigned budget and targets.· Assures that all products meet company quality standards. Provides for receipt and storage of raw materials. Assures that sanitation and maintenance procedures are developed and adhered to.· Develops and implements short- and long-range Continuous Improvement program and initiatives· Supervises, trains and coaches manufacturing management to include responsibility for personnel and labor issues throughout the plant.· Key contact position at plant for policies, strategic initiatives, and issue resolution.RequisitiSkills:· Leadership knowledge and experience in manufacturing operations with emphasis on lean and efficient workflow;· Significant manufacturing experience demonstrating a self-starting and hands-on quality· Fully proficient level critical thinking and problem-solving skills required· Proficiency level in written and spoken EnglishWe'd like to meet analytical and structured person with strong communication skills, good planning and coordination skills, able to motivate and encourage colleagues in professional network.
