The role requires the incumbent to manage and oversee all maintenance activities including mechanical and electrical & instrumentation (E&I) systems ensuring reliability and safety of plant equipment.
The position demands strong leadership in planning budgeting and implementing maintenance strategies to achieve operational goals and uphold industry best practices.
Responsibilities: Manage annual and specific project maintenance activities and budgets covering both mechanical and E&I aspects to meet departmental objectives.
Apply relevant maintenance strategies and industry best practices to maintain and modify plant equipment ensuring optimal reliability and availability.
Ensure all plant and equipment maintenance adheres to the highest safety standards with prompt response and thorough investigation of any hazardous incidents or accidents.
Oversee all maintenance activities to ensure compliance with HSEQ standards statutory requirements and the companys maintenance and management systems.
Establish and enforce procedures and systems for maintenance activities within the process plant.
Oversee facilities planning including maintenance modification control of equipment space allocation and construction projects.
Collaborate with parent and subsidiary companies on technology transfers to enhance maintenance performance standards.
Provide line management for Maintenance team members including approving work requests requisitions for new equipment and contractors daily timesheets.
Plan and manage shutdown maintenance activities in coordination with the production department.
Identify and address training needs for the Maintenance team to ensure they possess the necessary skills and competencies.
Assess and review inhouse contractors performance and manage contractual agreements.
Requirements: Degree in a related discipline.
Experience and knowledge in the maintenance of mechanical rotating equipment and static facilities.
Experience as an E&I Process/Maintenance Engineer at a chemical plant or manufacturing facility.
Familiarity with high voltage power supply MCC control panel and/or DCS design and management systems.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
