The Plant Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the supervision of the maintenance team.
Reports to the Plant Manager and will take care of the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance at the Griffin, GA facility in order to guarantee the correct functioning of the machinery and industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Manage Maintenance Technicians.
Responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing maintenance and technical improvements to production machinery and facility.
Restoration of the functioning of the machines, prevention of breakdowns and anomalies, and improvement of the means of work.
Act on faulty machines following requests for intervention by the Heads of Production Area, including revision and/or execution of complex repairs.
Identify imperfections in the machinery and their causes; disassemble parts to locate and eliminate faults.
Ensure periodic maintenance work is performed.
Handle improvement recommendations for plant equipment reliability and maintenance-related problem solving.
Coach, develop, and monitor the performance of maintenance technicians.
Implement and sustain continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
Assist with hiring of maintenance personnel.
Check and repair according to established procedures and record technical data relating to repair/maintenance carried out.
Design maintenance procedures.
Maintain safety protocols for maintenance and service teams.
Forecast and order spare parts.
Ensure the availability of necessary tools and equipment.
Define technical specifications of spare parts, consumables, and work tools necessary for the execution of the work.
Manage budgets and approve expenses.
Sourcing, commissioning, and management of suppliers/subcontractors for specialized maintenance work.
Coordinate more complex maintenance work.
Other duties as assigned.
