What does a Plant Accountant & Costing Analyst do?
The Plant Accountant & Costing Analyst is responsible for cost accounting activities for the plant located in Spartan (South Africa) and for regional cost calculation activities in EMEA.
Why do we need you?
- To use your experience and knowledge to manage Plant Accounting activities:
- Co-ordinate Site Supply Chain Finance
- Review of Manufacturing Information
- Review manufacturing standards with operations managers
- Ensure that budget process is completed within business timetable
- Co-ordinate and ensure that all accounting bookings are complete and accurate
- Provide Financial Support to Projects and Savings Initiatives
- Evaluate business control applied in terms of manufacturing and inventory
- To use your talent to manage Regional Costing Analyst activities:
- Support business decisions by providing calculations to Pricing / Portfolio
- Ensure SOX compliance
- Connect with colleagues at all levels in the organization
- Good level of EXCEL and SAP
- Good level of written and spoken English
- Costing / finance experience preferred
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred
- Individual should desire to be challenged consistently
- Flexibility regarding changing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize work
- Can work independently and as a team member
- Maintain high level of confidentiality concerning proprietary information
- Work cordially and professionally with internal and external constituents
