This position is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or those wanting to jump-start their accounting careers. Working closely with the Plant General Manager, you will be responsible for month-end journal entries, assisting with the annual operating budget, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and has at least one year of cost accounting experience. Plant Accountant Responsibilities •    Prepare monthly journal entries and financial reports
•    Assist with annual operating budgets
•    Receive raw materials and manage inventory cycle-counts
•    Conduct physical inventories during month-end closing
•    Track weekly and monthly spending
•    Engage with plant-level teams 
•    Handle sales/use tax reporting and accounting
•    Travel up to 20 days to corporate office 
Plant Accountant Qualifications •    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
•    1+ years of cost accounting experience required
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook and Excel) required 
•    Ability to work on-site and travel 15-20 days/year required
