Your role and responsibilitiesMonitor suppliers' performances in terms of on-time delivery and implement corrective actions if necessary.
Collaborate with Buyers for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, MOQ, quality, lead-time, and flexibility.
Manage MRP (Materials Resource Planning) exception messages on a daily basis; support cycle counting and/or year-end inventory counting.
Expedite parts and manage quick ship requests, communicate and expedite material issues.
Be responsible for stock profile and segment the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management and commercial policy, defining inventory policies according to this segmentation.
Support Planning & Fulfillment team in aligning material availability to business targets.
Support end-to-end planning of inventory including sales in excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice.
Support internal customer service inquiries and organization in reaching inventory targets and ensure adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.
Qualifications for the roleStudent in Management Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular on Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of SAP and data analysis tools (Power BI or similar) are considered a plus.Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.Be creative, innovative and digitally smart.Ownership and problem-solving attitude, result-oriented.
