Plan production schedules for production and where applicable R&D operations to support internal and external programs.
- Communicate and coordinates the alignment of the production schedule for a cross-functional audience.
- Plan flow of work through plant, considering raw materials and shipping dates of finished products.
- Follow the progress of work on assigned orders to ensure the production schedule is being met, investigate incomplete or delayed orders.
- Work closely with cross-functional leads to identify, plan and resolve inconsistencies and gaps between demand and supply.
- Work with procurement and planning team to assure raw materials and purchased parts meet production and delivery requirements.
- Responsible for expedites within value streams, as required, to ensure production schedules are met.
- Coordinate and communicates production requirements within the respective Value Stream.
- Monitor lead times and lead time offsets in the system to reflect flow and lean manufacturing principles.
- Detailed Capacity Planning.
Involved with S&OP data to ensure accuracy for forecasting.
- Initiate and participate in continuous improvement activities related to production planning, development program support and inventory management.
- Review MRP data integrity for assigned work centers and materials.
- Manage and recommend inventory levels ensuring uninterrupted supply while maintaining optimal inventory levels, along with ensuring customer reliability and meeting target inventory turns.
- Oversee design, development and implementation of cost savings and cost reductions driven by supply chain innovations and improvements.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline, Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Technical degree preferred.
- APICS/ISM (CPSM/CSCP)/Supply Chain certification preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.
- Advanced materials management skills, including Production Scheduling,
- Experience procuring within a GMP manufacturing environment.
- Ability to communicate in a professional and efficient manner at all levels of the company.
- Strong project management skills with accurate attention to detail.
- A high energy, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and a positive and professional demeanor.
- Ability to be flexible and able to function comfortably in a fast paced, changing and dynamic environment.
- Experience in identification and implementation of SCM best practices and industry standards.
