**Introduction**:
**PROFILE**
Will be responsible, with colleagues in Planning department, for developing a production plan to satisfy customer demand.
She/he is responsible, as part of the planning Department, to meet both service and efficiency targets.
Sales demand, new business opportunities, customer expectations, and internal supply constraints will be used to develop production plans.
She/He works closely with Production team and Customer Service to ensure:
- Capacity of the Lines to meet production.
- Scheduling of customer orders, according to demand, flexibility with respect to changes in customer demand and because of customer interaction.
Strong collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, Production and Procurement will be critical to meeting business goals.
She/He will proactively contribute to reach, as a Team, a reliable and flexible planning system (balance OTIF and Demand Flexibility).
**What you will do**:
**RESPONSIBILITY**
- Creates manufacturing schedules for production, based on customer demand inputs.
- Understands system planning parameters per established processes (scheduling parameters defined within the MRP system).
- Understands manufacturing capabilities and capacities with production view, customer requirements with Customer Service and set promise dates.
- Verifies material and tooling availability, together with Procurement and Technical Department/Production
- Enter, review and analyse customer orders and forecasts.
Reviewing and responding to needed adjustments, delivering root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Confirming schedule accuracy and feasibility through constraints evaluation.
- Receives and processes change orders.
- Communicates plans, production delays and upcoming risks to customers.
- Handles basic issues and problems under direct supervision while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Works with purchasing and operations teams on schedule impacts and resolution.
- Drives and maintains optimum inventory levels, to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements.
- Driver for cross-sites production transfer in the Group.
- Plans trials for new Products and/or modifications of present products.
**What you should bring to the table**:
**BACKGROUND**
Age: approx.
35 years old
Education: Degree in management engineering and/or economics or equivalent culture.
- Minimum years experience required: 4 years, with good experience in scheduling.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English is required.
- Experience with ERP and MRP systems preferred.
- Sound knowledge of supply chain processes and procedure.
Including manufacturing planning, demand and replenishment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts, influence on a common solution.
- Organizational skills and attention to details.
- Communicates professionally and effectively, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams.
