We are currently seeking a Piping Materials Engineer, reporting directly to Piping Materials Management Section Head to join our Plant Design & Materials Division team based in Rome. You will work inside the Piping Material Management Section that is in charge of the management of Piping Materials definition, Procurement, and quantity follow up. You will start working into a Project as Piping Material Engineer with the coordination of Materials Management Discipline Coordinator. Prospective for the candidate is to grow up encompassing all Piping Material Management issues.
Key interactions of the Piping Material Engineer include:
Internally with Project teams, Process, Civil Engineering, Piping Designers, Instrumentation specialists, IT, Estimating and Cost Control Departments, and Construction Department. Planning Department; externally with Clients and Suppliers. Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Develop Piping Classes Summary & Piping Classes. Develop Job Specification for design and supply. Prepare Data Sheet of special material. Perform Piping Material Take-Offs, Working Instruction, Monitoring Quantities. Prepare Material Requisition for inquiry and purchase. Analyze offers from vendors, perform the technical Bid Tabulation, including technical clarifications and deviations. Review Vendors' documentation. Prepare Quantities re-evaluation both for Purchasing and Construction. Perform Piping Materials Forecast Run to crosscheck the material availability at Site to ensure the Construction workload. You will have the opportunity to do business trips to attend technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, visit Vendor workshop, move to other Technip Energies operating centers, and join our colleagues overseas. Occasionally you will also have the opportunity to follow up engineering activities related to Piping Materials directly on our Plant sites, supporting prefabrication and erection activities. About You

Only local contract will be considered. Only candidates in possession of a permit to work in Italy. Qualifications:
- Master degree in Mechanical/Materials Engineering;
- Languages: fluent in Italian and in English (written and spoken);
Main Skills: Attitude to perform the work in a team, in an international and multicultural environment; Growth mindset and continuous improvement approach; Good presentation and communication skills at all organizational levels; Sharp eye for detail and capability to complete tasks on time with the required Company quality level and a high level of precision; Availability for international mobility for either short or long-term assignments; Open attitude towards emerging energy sources, knowledge of new digital tools and solutions; At least 4 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role in the Oil & Gas sector; IT Skills:
- Strong MS Office skills (great command of Excel);
- Smart Plant Materials;
