Piping Engineer

Position: We are currently recruiting a Piping Engineer for our Power Plant Construction Project near Venice.
About the Role: He/she will be based at the Construction Site and reporting to the Project Engineering Manager.
He/She will: Require a thorough knowledge of construction methods and standards and principles.
Provide liaison and support for the Piping and Mechanical Construction activities of the superintendents and construction supervisors.
Monitor craft employees and sub-contractors' work and material for compliance with drawings and specifications.
Under general supervision, evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
Assist the Superintendent by providing input to identify key success factors, timing of procurement deliverables, and establishing common work breakdown structures.
Provide technical and administrative direction to field layout and surveying personnel.
Review drawings and material status for upcoming work to identify potential problems.
Review prior to issuance of drawings/blueprints and other engineering documents and specifications to field forces.
Requirements: Degree in Engineering according to Discipline (Mechanical).
Experience in Hydrotest, test packs preparation, execution of basic and detailed engineering in the Oil Gas Upstream, Gas Treating, and Power Plant.
