Description of the Pharmacy Technician role: We are looking for a dependable, detail- and customer service-oriented, self-starting individual to join our team. This Pharmacy Technician position will primarily process and fill prescriptions at our Milan store but will also travel to our Versailles and Batesville stores as needed as well.
Responsibilities:Accurate medication counting and packagingComputer inputSelling durable medical equipmentBalancing cash drawersGenerating reportsOther tasks may be delegated under the direction of the pharmacistMinimum Requirements:High School Diploma or GED EquivalentValid State of Indiana Pharmacy Technician LicenseHigh level of care and compassion for othersStrong communication, computer, and organizational skillsMathematical reasoning skillsProblem resolution abilityMinimum of 2 years experience at a retail pharmacy preferredRX30 software experience is preferredOur Milan store hours are as follows: Monday-Friday 9:00am-6pm, Saturday 9am-2pm, and closed Sundays. The schedule for this position will include 36-40 hours per week as well as a Saturday rotation. Additionally, travel to other stores may be required as necessary.
