You'll be an HR operational expert providing day-to-day advice, guidance and coaching to the business. Acting mainly as support to the Growth team in the delivery of an efficient and effective service to their business areas. You will be the first point of contact for all people-related advice and support.Reporting into the Senior People Partner - Revenue based in London, this role will be based in our Milan office.What you will do…People PartneringAct as the on-the-ground contact in Italy for general People queries, collaborating with the People team in head office on key themes and feedback on an ongoing basis to bring about improvement in process (where applicable)Coach people leaders through people-related issues, concerns and development needs to enable and empower them to manage their people effectively and consistentlyProvide HR advice and support when required in the management of employee relations cases including investigations into conduct, capability and grievances while adhering to local legislationProvide advice, guidance and administrative support on job design, organisational change, restructuring and redeployment processes, advising on best practice, procedures and appropriate legislationAct as a change agent for major and minor transformation projects and programmes to ensure a seamless and effective implementation and sustainable embedding of all activitiesAssist with the preparation and dissemination of local internal communications as well as where communications from the UK are to be adapted for the Italian market to increase understandingRecommend new approaches to head office to ensure continuous improvement in working practices, considering your on-the-ground knowledge, existing policies and local legislationTraining & developmentDeliver training and development programs where required (both locally and where set by head office); partnering with programme managers to localise the content so training carried out in the UK is effectively received by the Milan office. This includes (but is not limited to) managing the induction process for new employees joining.Workplace ExperienceProvide local support on wellbeing and engagement initiatives and being passionate about delivering an impeccable employee experience Work closely with the Head of Workplace Experience, including overseeing health and safety requirements of the Milan offices as well as physical security proceduresSupport with the day to day planning and maintenance of the Milan office, including managing office inventory and placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.Work closely with People Experience to organise events for the offices in Italy where required (such as social activities) as well as manage conference/event attendanceTalent AcquisitionAssist with end to end hiring for roles in country and support with key Talent Acquisition initiatives when needed, acting in close collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team in head officeSupport with such other duties as may be required from the role from time to time.What you will bring...The ability to appreciate the wider picture and play a pivot role in the translation of vision and strategic direction into coordinated action and accountability locallyProven HR generalist experienceExperience working with Commercial teams preferred, but not essential Prior policy writing experience as well as experience managing employee relations cases in Italy end-to-endStrong relationship skills with proven ability to maintain effective collaboration across different teams and geographies Fluency in Italian and strong comprehension in English, both verbal and writtenA self-starter who can work with autonomy and is able to challenge the status quo to add valueThe ability to 'connect the dots' among people and projects to formulate an overall big picture viewAbility to operate in an agile environmentAbout DojoWe launched Dojo in 2019 to address business owners' pain points across the UK.
