The Sandbox VR People Team is comprised of three major functional areas, People Ops & Systems, Centers of Excellence, and our Business Partners. You'll be a part of our Business Partner function, serving as a vital liaison between the People Team and the business, playing a role that is pivotal in supporting our people and driving business outcomes. What You Will Be Doing:Gain a strong understanding of SBVR's Retail business and develop strong relationships, collaborating with key partners and stakeholders across the Retail orgConvert thematic insights into practical, tactical initiatives that enhance our organizational structure and talent strategyActively execute and make informed decisions within established policies, enhancing employee experience by creating solutions within existing frameworksCoach teams towards effective decision-making and enhance communication skills across levelsProactively mitigate legal and compliance risks, investigating and addressing employee relations concerns effectivelyProvide direct support to Store Managers and District Leaders, enhancing their performance and addressing their concerns throughout their tenure at SBVRConduct stay and exit interviews for store leadership, analyze trends, and recommend actionable solutions based on findingsIn partnership with the People Team's centers of expertise, lead and design specialized training programs where your expertise adds significant valueAssist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures as neededWhat We Are Looking For:Strong Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsConfidence and Resilience: Managing unprecedented or challenging situations with a proactive approach to finding solutionsPeople First Leadership: A strong passion for supporting people and leading with a people-first mindsetBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferredSHRM-CP or PHR a plusMust be available to work standard west coast business hoursWhat's in It for You:4% 401k matchSignificant equity grants in a rapidly growing organizationRobust medical benefitsFull remote work from any of our currently approved US statesGenerous internet & phone stipend$69,042 - $84,882 a year
