**Role Overview**:
As a key partner within our People team, the **Payroll Team Leader (Reward Lead)** supports the HR team in the daily operational activities to provide the best HR service to the employees and cooperate to the payroll efficiency.
**Key Duties/Responsibilities**:
- Lead the Payroll Italian team having one direct report
- Act as point of contact for store employees providing assistance for all Payroll related matters and queries, escalating when necessary
- Supervise new hires, leavers and all changes that have an impact on employee's payslips
- Manage the monthly payroll process in collaboration with the external payroll provider
- Manage and track maternity leaves
- Make sure the time & attendance system (Zucchetti) is correctly fed by the stores
- Manage employee benefits that impact the payslips (ticket restaurants, company car fringe benefit, life insurances, etc..)
- Support Finance department in the wages costs reconciliations, internal audits, and other ad hoc activities
- Keeping the relationship with external parties such as INPS and INAIL for sickness and injuries
- Monthly reporting on staff cost, ISTAT, accruals, absenteeism, turnover and other HR & Payroll KPI'S
**Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed**:
- Master's Degree preferably in Economic studies
- 3 or more years of experience in similar role in multinational environments
- Experience in Retail business is a plus
- Good knowledge of Trade CCNL (CCNL Commercio)
- Must be an expert in Microsoft Excel, knowledge of Zucchetti system will be considered a plus
- Effective planning and management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Good team player, energetic, proactive, curious and creative
- Resilience and solution oriented approach
- Languages: Italian and English (C2) mandatory
