Job DescriptionPayroll Specialist, Italy(hybrid/remote, based in Italy)Purpose of the role.The Payroll Specialist main responsibility will be leading the timely and accurate payroll processing for Organon Italy in accordance with Italian regulations.
You will closely collaborate with Human Resources and Finance to effectively maintain accurate payroll accounting records.
You will also support other payrolls in the EUCAN region if needed.For all activities, the Payroll Specialist demonstrates a continuous improvement mind-set to have issues solved at root cause as well as experience and a passion for delivering successful results with an inclusive team ethic.Main responsibilities               Timely and correct processing of Italy payroll.Monitoring and assessing changes in personnel and salary data for accuracy and workability in terms of collective bargaining agreements, laws, and regulations.Keeping up with developments in the field and advises on changes in legislation and regulations (industry, social security & tax) and supports in the implementation of these new regulations.Processing tax and social security declarations and contributions in cooperation with ADP and coordinate with the local authorities on this matter if needed.Ensuring accurate and timely processing of monthly, quarterly and yearly activities linked to payroll.Handling payroll controls including gross to net reconciliation compliant to SOX and other audits.Management of Time & Attendance software in accordance with the provider.Collaborating closely with all relevant parties, i.e.
EMEA HR Service Delivery organization, HRBPs and HR Center of Excellences, etc.Participates in local and regional projects and advises in cross department (HR/finance/C&B) projects.Your profileBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.Al least 3 to 5 years of experience in Italian Payroll, optimally in a multinational business environmentUnderstanding of different Payroll components and processes, optimally within a multinational environment.Familiar with the latest developments in payroll, Law, Social Security, Tax, etc.Highly organized and able to prioritize workload and manage deadlines with attention to detail.Good knowledge of relevant software (MS-Office) with a good working knowledge of Excel.Knowledge of ADP Celergo and Workday is a plus.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and function effectively as a team member.Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.Experience in international remuneration is a plus.Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken), other languages are a plus.Costituisce titolo preferenziale l'appartenenza alle categorie protette ex lege 68/99 - Membership of the protected categories (categorie protette) pursuant to Law 68/99 is a preferential title.Secondary Job DescriptionWho We Are: Organon delivers ingenious health solutions that enable people to live their best lives.
