Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain relationships with payment processors and risk management vendorsLead negotiations with payment service providers to optimize processing feesDrive end-to-end partnership lifecycle from prospecting to contract finalizationDesign and execute risk mitigation strategies to optimize dispute and fraud ratesCraft dispute prevention and resolution processes that follow industry best practicesIdentify and implement automation opportunities across our payment operationsResearch and integrate alternative payment methods to boost conversion ratesScout and evaluate new payment processing partners to support our rapid growthAnalyze payment performance data and create actionable insightsHelp select and implement tools to streamline our payment infrastructureQualificationsYou have 2+ years of experience in payment operations, risk management, or similar roleYou have experience in commercial negotiations and vendor managementYou possess strong communication and deal-making skillsYou understand payment processing fee structures and optimization strategiesYou're analytically minded with strong Excel skills (pivot tables are your friends)You have experience with payment dashboards and analytics toolsYou understand the intricacies of digital payments and risk managementYou're comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholdersYou have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailYou're proactive and can work independently while supporting team goalsNice to haveExperience with Stripe, PayPal, or other major payment processorsKnowledge of high-risk merchant account managementFamiliarity with payment orchestration platforms (like Primer.io)Experience with D2C subscription-based products and their payment challengesLocationRuby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone.
