The role The Grocery Partner Operations manager is a newly-created role in the Italy Commercial team and is at the forefront of ensuring that Deliveroo strengthens its position as a leader in the Grocery market.
You will ensure the smooth running of our delivery operations associated with all of our segment of partners combining data driven approach & feedback from the field.
You will build the bridge between Operations strategy & commercial teams to improve our service.
You will be adept at working independently to diagnose, resolve and report on areas of concern and at communicating proficiently with multiple stakeholders.
You will be an executor and a leader, an authority on commercial operations and a key part of the Italian Grocery team.
You will often be the Operations voice in the room during meetings with key partners and your ability to influence and deliver a clear message will be key.
Central to this role will be the ability to understand problems, test solutions to address them and quickly determine how to scale them.
Your responsibilities will include: Become a subject matter expert on Deliveroo operations especially Grocery players operationsManage the interests of customers, partners and riders in every decision you takeBreathe the marketplace and go on the ground to face our operational challenges and best practicesInfluence commercial stakeholders and partners to provide best-in-class operationsProactively find areas for improvement, be innovative in seeking the best solution, and execute in a timely and considered mannerStrengthen the ways of working and relationships between Commercial, Ops and Care teamsBe the voice of Italy for Grocery ops product development and integrationsBe accountable for Grocery P&L impactTake business priorities into account to lead project work to a very high standardSkills and Requirements 3 to 5 years of Project management \ Operations - experience in managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a structured and logical wayFluency in english and italian speaking is required for this role.Influencer - able to rally a team behind an idea and get stakeholders (both internal and external) to buy in to your ideasAnalytical - Able to identify the relevant information required to make a decision and present that information in a concise, logical mannerCommunication - Able to develop good working relationships with key stakeholders, influence, and attain the requisite buy inInquisitive - Curious and happy to question the status-quoOrganized - Always deliver the right work at the right timeTrack record of 'getting it done' - Operational knowledge of the business and how it works today.
