Tasks include but not limited to:Collect/collate Bill of Material (BOM) of each product (including Pre-Blends) either from the requestor or using GSAP extracts,Where density isn't provided by the requestor obtain it from either the Global Product Catalogue or the Safety Data Sheet site,Match the components in the BOM to the emissions factors database,Highlight components not able to be matched to emissions factors and any anomalies found (including incorrect production plant information from requestor) and engage the necessary stakeholders to clarify data,Ensure calculations are accurate and follows the methodology,Obtain review, and where required approval from the necessary reviewers/approversEnsures correctness and accuracy of carbon footprint calculationsFind pertinent information required for enabling Sustainability calculations. Examples include searching for information required for:Conducting product carbon footprint calculations.Develop/ update emissions factor either internally or externally (supplier websites).Determining composition of a third-party supplied product.Develop Power Bi apps for simple use and work with the DIY IT focal for Lubricants if more complex tools need to be developed.Analytical and Excel skills – able to use Excel functions (e.g., functions and pivot tables) to simplify calculations.Awareness of Lubricants product types/specifications, or of lifecycle analysis (LCA) method.Engage stakeholders that includes but not limited Global Marketing, Sustainability Focal and Managers and other sustainability teams.Identifies improvement opportunities in the process and uses CI ways of working to make the process better and efficient.Ensures the Lubricants Database are updated for new calculations and obsolete products.Required Skills/Qualifications:University/Bachelors degree in engineering with atleast 4 years of experience in a related field.Analytical and Excel skills – able to use Excel functions (e.g., functions and pivot tables) to simplify calculations.Awareness of Lubricants product types/specifications, or of lifecycle analysis (LCA) method.Experience in developing low code automations is preferred.Substantial experience in customer relationship managementKnowledge in Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing frameworkExperience in Data Management including tracking of data request, data assurance, data quality, issue resolution.Data Management – capability to manage and handle customer request for carbon intensity calculation, managing queries and identifying opportunity for improvement.Continuous Improvement/Low Code Automation – ability to create simple and quick solutions to efficiency and process improvement.Stakeholder Engagement – the job requires to be able to self-manage different Lubricants Sustainability stakeholders globally with minimal supervision.Note: Work Setup – HybridWork Timing – Mon to Friday, 3PM to 12AM-DISCLAIMER:Please note: We occasionally amend or withdraw Shell jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to the advertised closing date.
