Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdheres to the mission, vision, and values of the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing and Loyola University Chicago.Adheres to state and federal laws (i.e., privacy, confidentiality).Communicates effectively with students and colleagues.Demonstrates teaching efficiency and quality in preparing and evaluating virtual laboratory sessions.Assists students in learning, application, utilization, and synthesis of previous knowledge.Guides students in application of theoretical content to laboratory exercises and activities.Ensures an inclusive classroom for effective teaching and learning.Responds to students in a timely fashion and serves as the course mentor.Employs multiple teaching modalities to assist students in achieving course outcomes.Demonstrates enthusiasm for teaching.Maintains collaborative working relationships with Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing colleagues.Employs a growth mindset and is comfortable giving and receiving feedback.Participates in continuous professional development activities to improve knowledge and skills in teaching, practice, and scholarship.QualificationsAcademic preparation includes a Master of Science degree or equivalent.Teaching experience favored; proficiency with virtual laboratories for anatomy, physiology, or chemistry is preferred.Special Instructions to ApplicantsInquiries can be directed to:
