The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Paralegal for Legal Entities Governance (m/f/x), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Supporting Solventum subsidiaries in: France, Italy, Israel, Spain, Belgium, and Portugal – with their annual governance and compliance process and other corporate legal resolutions, including Directors & Officers and other event driven changes Supervising and directing the work of 3rd-party service providers for corporate and subsidiary governance Maintaining Solventum's corporate records to ensure accuracy and completeness Partnering with Legal, Treasury, Finance and Tax teams on governance aspects of corporate reorganizations/restructurings and serving as a resource on corporate and subsidiary governance matters Helping streamline and manage corporate governance processes and compliance risks Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university Experience in corporate registration procedures in France (additional experience in Spain, Italy, Belgium and Portugal is a plus) and coordinating with internal and external legal counsel on maintenance of governance tasks in support for legal entities Experience in using new technology for subsidiary management and governance Experience in performing legal research. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Experience in demonstrating the ability to work autonomously, control a high volume and complex workload and know when to escalate issues to an attorney. Solid proofreading skills. Comfortable working with all levels of management. Comfortable with handling sensitive issues confidentially and diplomatically. Proficiency in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint. Experience with an electronic board portal, such as Diligent Boards. Experience in coordinating complex tasks with multiple team members with a strong focus on collaboration. Notary public qualification.
