Within the PC Facultative Reinsurance, Claims and Services function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.Key responsibilities of the role will include:Support in the empowerment of all Group Companies and especially GCC to purchase the optimum level of facultative reinsurance capacity within a specific agreed framework in line with Group Reinsurance Policy and relevant applicable Guidelines.Act wisely in the mitigation of the Counterparty Credit Risk for cessions to Professional Reinsurers, Co-Reinsurance, Captive, Fronting, also recommending and assessing the right Collateral solutions (Letter of Credit, Parental Guarantee, Cash/Share/Pledge Account) to mitigate the risk.Contribute to structure, coordinate, implement and monitor scalable Facultative Obligatory Reinsurance Solutions for the Group Business Units with Professional Reinsurers.Enhancing business relationships with main international Reinsurers and Brokers seeking the best innovative facultative reinsurance solutions to achieve profitable growth goals.RequirementsOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Bachelor or Master's degree (Business Management, Economics, Law).Minimum 4 years' professional experience in (re)insurance (exposure to multiple lines of business and/or international business is a plus).Proficient in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus).Knowledge of Office 365 applications.Soft skills:Target oriented, willing to innovate, able to implement technical initiatives through the organization.Strong technical and commercial skills.Diplomatic, strong communicator, able to interact with both internal and external stakeholders, open and active listener.Openness to innovation.Company ProfileGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry – a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
