As an Outside Sales Engineer, you will be the face of Emerson in front of our key customers within the Italy Emilia Romagna area, proposing the wide range of field instrument products and solutions into a variety of industries such as Oil Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Power, Metal Mining, Pulp Paper.
Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, you will help identify and qualify new business opportunities with existing or new customers within your assigned area and promote customer satisfaction and loyalty by demonstrating an understanding of their business and needs.
Your focus will be on Competitive displacement opportunities, OEM business, and end users located on the territory.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Be responsible for all sales activities to meet or exceed the agreed bookings and strategic business objectives within the assigned territories.
Identify market requirements and specifics, develop and complete the strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability in the agreed sales territory.
Actively promote and sell Field instrumentation offerings including products, solutions, and services.
Negotiate with Customers relevant Business Contracts within the agreed Delegation of Authority – including discount, price, and volume structures.
Drive sales and proposal strategies with the sales support organization (local and international).
Participate in the annual budget setting process and be able to comment on relative prospects bookings and GP, as necessary.
Maintain a project opportunity list for the assigned sales area in the associated tools (CRM etc.).
Oversee, ensure and personally support the execution of committed contractual terms to customers in all business transactions.
Report on quotation project potential through CRM and other reporting mechanisms.

For This Role, You Will Need: Technical education or bachelor's engineering degree.
At least 3-5 years of proven successful experience in technical sales roles within the process industry.
Proficiency in Italian and English (verbal, reading and writing) is required.
Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
Residence in Emilia Romagna region is preferred.
