Description SAIC is looking for a Senior OSINT Collector SME with advanced target language skills and cultural expertise to work with a diverse team of collectors, linguists, cultural experts, and operations officers, providing operational support to dynamic global operations.
This position will require interaction with a wide variety of Government and contractor personnel – ability to operate in a diverse, evolving, and high-profile environment is key.

Job Duties: Responsible for OSINT Collection and reporting activities, focused on target language data collection from textual, video, and audio data.
Responsible for locating and collecting relevant information from diverse sources in the Cyber domain, including social media, press sources, and other open source repositories.
Employs collection techniques and signature reduction tools to identify and collect information relevant to customer requirements.
Applies internet-based research skills, including manipulation of proprietary and commercial tools, and advanced research methods.
Leverages foreign cultural expertise to support information collection, product development, and assist teammates with intelligence problems.
Collaborates with team members, government representatives, and industry partners to support intelligence and analysis activities.
Produces incident, threat, and information reports based on customer direction, and in compliance with relevant U.S. government policies.
Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in International Studies, or a related field and ten (10) years or more experience supporting U.S. government intelligence activities.
Field experience may be substituted for education requirements.
Industry OSINT, anti-fraud, or Trust and Safety experience may be substituted for U.S. government intelligence experience.
Clearance Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active Top Secret SCI Clearance.
Additional Requirements: Minimum DLPT 3/3/2 or Equivalent (ILS, ILR, ALTA) in target language required.
Knowledgeable of idioms, colloquialisms, slang, and have a sophisticated understanding of the cultural, social, and political environment.
Ability to prepare and present information reports with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to execute multiple tasks and ongoing projects while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Working knowledge of popular, legacy, and new social media, forums, messaging services, blog sites, and mobile applications.
Willing to work outside normal business hours.
These positions are not generally shift work; however, employees may be required to work outside of normal hours in response to regional crisis or conflict.
Desired Certifications Skills: Minimum 5 years of focused Defense Department / Intelligence Community experience.
Former Military linguistic experience (35P, 09L, 1N3, 2671, 2712, 2799, or equivalent).
Completion of U.S. Army OS-301, OS-302, OSINT Basic Course, USSOCOM NERD, DIA OS1, FBI OS-101, or similar industry training.
Experience conducting intelligence and information briefings, and other official communications, with senior and executive leaders.
Knowledge of military operations, terminology, and structure.
