We are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Development Manager to join our team in the field of large-scale wind and solar power plant development. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the industry and possess strong expertise in utilizing the QGIS tool. As Origination &Project Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of renewable energy projects. Your ability to manage multiple tasks, work within deadlines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams will be crucial for achieving project objectives. What you will do:
Lead and manage large-scale wind and solar power plant projects from inception to completion.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including budget, timeline, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and aligned with company goals.
Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to identify suitable locations for wind and solar power plant installations.
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize design and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Oversee procurement processes, including vendor selection and contract negotiations.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Effectively communicate project updates, risks, and achievements to senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines throughout project execution.
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to wind and solar power plant development.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field. A master's degree would be an advantage.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the development of large-scale wind and solar power plants.
Strong proficiency in utilizing the QGIS tool for mapping, spatial analysis, and data management.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Solid understanding of renewable energy industry dynamics, technical requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
Proven track record in delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
