Job Description
The candidate will focus on developing the skills required to operate as a specialized technician in Inertial Measurement Unit assembly in the Engineering Model Manufacturing Laboratory.

Responsibilities and Duties Acquire knowhow in I-FOG (Interferometric Fiber Optic Gyroscopes) applied to inertial navigation systems.Understand procedures and diagnostic methodologies for I-FOG.Use an arc fusion splicer and recoater.Use optical instrumentation (optical power meter, polarization extinction ratio meter, Optical spectrum analyzer).Have good manual skills.Develop optical fiber handling skills.Develop mechanical assembly skills.Work individually. Qualification and Skills High School diploma or Bachelor's degree in scientific disciplines.Knowledge of Office suite (Word, Excel).Self-starter capability.Multidisciplinary attitude and team working capability.Work passion, patience, and a smart learning attitude.Fluent knowledge of the Italian language and basic knowledge of the English language.
