The key objectives of Technical Operations are safety, reliable flight operations and cost-efficient maintenance processes. Operative Engineering function is under Operative Management, which combines the strengths of Engineering and MCC (Maintenance Control Center). We are now looking for OPERATIVE ENGINEER
to be a part of our Operative Engineering team of highly skilled and competent individual contributors who work collaboratively as a team. We are responsible for the health and reliability of the Finnair Airbus Fleet including: defect control, long term troubleshooting, leading prolonged AOGs, managing the Fleet Reliability Program, and developing Predictive maintenance for the Fleets.
The main responsibilities include: Lead and support complex AOGs.Contribute to the development of processes and technical training for the organization.Support development of Predictive Maintenance.Support future of Aircraft Data usage / management.Developing aircraft and system capabilities, resolving problem cases, monitoring manufacturer and community information as well as fleet metrics to improve aircraft reliability and maintaining aircraft continuing airworthiness.Analyzing reliability data and other aircraft diagnostics, and initiating and managing completion of actions to enhance the reliability.Engineering and development projects as well as other given assignments within the own area of expertise.Monitoring technical performance of vendor components and initiating and negotiating actions to improve performance.Maintaining active communication channels with vendors.To be considered for the position we expect you to be one of the following: Bachelor in Engineering.Part 66 License (minimum 5 years of experience as Certified Staff in aircraft maintenance) with B2 knowledge.Additionally, we expect you to have: Good communication and cooperation skills.Ability for strategic work and good skills to develop the area of responsibilities.Basic office tool skills.Basic/working level English skills.
